If you have work gloves and/or hard hat please bring it/them, although we do have some for you to use if you are without. Don't forget to wear sunblock, we also have some on site.

Typical Day

Workers start to arrive on-site between 8 and 8:30 AM.

Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and bakery goods will be provided for our coffee break at 10:00

Lunch is at noon. Please pack your own lunch.

Clean-up usually starts around 3:00.

If you are only able to join us for several hours, that is fine. Any time that you are able to volunteer with us is wonderful!

TOOLS

If you have tools that you like to work with, bring them along. We do suggest that you mark your tools so they do not get intermingled with SHFH tools. In either case, we do have tools on-site. A tool belt is always handy. Hard hats are required on-site. If you do not have one, we can provide a loaner.
