Skagit Habitat for Humanity collaborates with many local businesses, faith groups, service groups, other organizations and individuals working together to make Skagit County an even better place to live. There are many ways the community can support our Mission and Vision including: prayer, financial donations, volunteering (Store, Committees, Construction Site, Special Events, Habitat Helpers Program), donating to and shopping at the Store, and being an advocate by increasing public awareness for the need for affordable housing.
Skagit Habitat always gives recognition for supporters on our Website: ‘Financial Donor’ if you give monies or sponsor an event; ‘Community Partner’ if your group comes out to build on the construction of new homes or participates in a ‘Habitat Helpers’ project or partners with us in some other capacity; ‘Services and Materials’ if you donate your time and/or talents in some way to help us in our mission and work here in Skagit County!
We also promote our Sponsors and Supporters on social media. If you would like a full list of ways to support Skagit Habitat for Humanity and/or the promotions your business receives at all different levels of giving, please contact our Resource Development Coordinator for more information. If you are a looking for a way to participate in a United Way of Skagit County Days of Caring Project, we can help you fulfill that as well, promoting your choice of project as such and passing along that information following your project to United Way so that they can promote your group as well.
