$1,931 Raised Toward Affordable Homeownership!
Last Friday, Skagit Habitat for Humanity held our second Beer & Bingo Night, raising $1,931 towards affordable homeownership!
The money raised will be used to purchase building materials for our eight-home project in Anacortes, helping 8 more local families achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. We are so grateful for our incredible community who showed up to play some bingo and build more affordable homes for our fellow neighbors in need!
How do Beer & Bingo Nights Support our Mission?
Our Beer & Bingo Fundraisers are an exciting way to engage our community – all to help make affordable housing a reality for local families.
We ask bingo players to make a donation, of any amount, in exchange for bingo cards. We love hosting these events at local breweries, such as Chuckanut Brewery, who help generate even more funds by donating $1 per pour back to Skagit Habitat for Humanity.
With different rounds of bingo, multiple prizes, and exciting tie breakers, these events help bring our community together, while simultaneously raising money for our construction projects. Currently, Skagit Habitat for Humanity is building 8 more permanently affordable homes in Anacortes, located off 29th street across from Storvik Park. With an affordable mortgage no greater than 33% of their gross income, our future Homebuyers will not just live – but thrive with the opportunity to invest in their families’ future, including finances, education, careers, community involvement, and more.

Thank you Skagit Community!
We want to give a special shoutout to Chuckanut Brewery for being such gracious hosts and donating $1 per pour back to our organization. Thank you for providing a comfortable, fun place to host our Beer & Bingo Night – we appreciate you!
We also want to thank everyone who attended our event, helping raise $1,931 towards our eight-home construction project in Anacortes! With your support, we’re building a stronger Skagit County. One where everyone has a safe, affordable place to call home.
