Beer & Bingo Night is BACK by popular demand! Grab your friends and get ready for an exciting night of beer, bingo, and raising money for affordable homeownership!
On Friday, July 11th , Skagit Habitat for Humanity is hosting our second Beer & Bingo Fundraiser at Chuckanut Brewery’s South Nut Taproom. Beginning at 5:30pm, we’ll host multiple rounds of bingo (with exciting prizes for the winners of each round) and share updates on Skagit Habitat’s current and future projects.
Donations Encouraged
Our Beer & Bingo Fundraisers are a great opportunity to connect with the Skagit community, while raising funds for our construction projects. We encourage participants to make a donation, of any amount, in exchange for bingo cards. Last year, we had a great turnout and raised nearly $1,300 at our first Beer & Bingo Fundraiser!
Supporting 8 More Affordable Homes in Anacortes
The event’s proceeds will be used to purchase building materials for our Anacortes construction project, which is nearly complete thanks to our community’s support! Together, we’re building 8 more permanently affordable homes in Anacortes, located off 29th Street across the street from Storvik Park.
We anticipate finishing the first four units by the end of July (pictured right) and the remaining four (pictured left) by October 2025! We are so excited for our future Homebuyers to achieve the strength, security, and self-reliance that affordable homeownership brings. With an affordable mortgage set at no greater than 33% of their gross income, our future Homebuyers will have the opportunity to invest in their families’ future, including their education, finances, community involvement, career paths, and more.
